Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of this policy is to establish standards regarding the payment for paid services, subscription payments, purchase and consumption of credits, and cancellation, termination, and refunds related to the Celon service provided by Celon Corp. (hereinafter referred to as "Company").
Article 2 (Terms)
Subscription (Periodic Payment): A product where the usage fee is automatically charged at regular intervals (e.g., once a month) and service usage rights and/or subscription credits are provided during the relevant period.
Credits: Electronic usage rights (points/tokens) consumed to utilize certain features of the service.
Subscription Credits: Credits that are provided periodically while the subscription is active.
Paid Credits (Recharge Credits): Credits obtained through separate purchases (recharges).
Free/Bonus Credits: Credits given without any compensation, such as promotions and rewards.
Article 3 (Granting and Nature of Credits)
The Company displays fees, provided credits, scope of features, and billing standards on the payment screen or fee information page within the service.
Credits are not cash-like assets and can only be used within the service (transfer/rental/cash exchange is not allowed).
Credits are deducted when using features, and the deduction history can be checked within the service.
Article 4 (Priority and Criteria for Credit Deductions)
The Company generally deducts in the order of (1) Free/Bonus → (2) Subscription Credits → (3) Paid Credits (prioritizing those with nearing expiration or older).
The deduction criteria by feature (e.g., testing/persona creation/interview sessions, etc.) and the amount of credit consumed follow the standards posted on the service screen.
The Company may change the deduction criteria based on feature/model costs and operational necessities of the service, and will provide prior notice of significant changes (see Article 10).
(Example) The credit deduction criteria table by feature is posted in the service's "Fees/Credits Information," and it is safest to state only that "the displayed criteria apply" in this policy (can operate without amending the policy).
Article 5 (Subscription Products)
The types of subscription products (plans), monthly usage fees, provided credits, and provided features are based on the information displayed on the payment screen.
Timing of Providing Subscription Credits: They are granted immediately upon payment completion or at the time of subscription renewal.
Usage Period/Carry Over of Subscription Credits: Subscription credits are generally to be used during the subscription period, and unused credits will not carry over to the next period and may expire (specific criteria follow the plan guidelines).
Subscriptions are primarily **automatically renewed (periodic payment)**, and billing occurs every billing cycle until the member cancels (stops renewal).
Article 6 (Purchase/Top-Up of Paid Credits)
Members can purchase (top-up) paid credit packages separately from subscriptions.
The validity period (e.g., 1 year) of the paid credits and criteria for expiration follow the information displayed on the payment screen.
Paid credits that have exceeded their validity period will automatically expire and generally will not be recoverable (unless there is a legal obligation for refund).
Article 7 (Payment Methods and Processing)
Payments are processed through Toss Payments, and can be made within the range of payment methods supported by the Company (e.g., credit/debit cards, etc.).
The displayed prices, unless otherwise stated, are based on inclusive of value-added tax (VAT).
Payment receipts/invoices are provided during the payment process, and the procedures for tax invoice issuance for corporate customers follow the guidance provided by the Company.
Article 8 (Cancellation, Withdrawal, Refund)
The withdrawal (principle of 7 days) and refund (principle of 3 business days) standards for mail-order sales are observed in accordance with the Electronic Commerce Act.
1) Cancellation (Stopping Regular Payments)
Members can request **cancellation of subscription (stop automatic renewal)** at any time through the payment settings within the service or customer service.
Cancellations will generally take effect from the next payment, and the usage rights for the already paid subscription period will be maintained until the end of that period (if there are separate regulations in the plan guidelines, those will be followed).
2) Basic Principles of Withdrawal (Cancellation of Payment)
Members (consumers) can withdraw within a certain period according to the Electronic Commerce Act (generally "within 7 days from the date the written contract details are received").
However, if the provision of digital content (including service usage rights/credits) has begun, withdrawal may be restricted under the reasons defined by the law.
The Company shall clearly indicate the fact of withdrawal restrictions for digital content where applicable, and will take necessary measures as required by law such as providing trial usage.
3) Refund Criteria for Subscription Payments (Recommended Operation Guidelines)
The following are the standard criteria for minimizing disputes (the same criteria apply as posted on the service screen).
If within 7 days of payment (or renewal) and there has been no usage of paid functions/credit deductions at all: full refund for the one payment (withdrawal).
If the above conditions are not met (start of use/occurrence of credit deductions, etc.): refund may generally be restricted (exceptions apply if there are statutory refund reasons).
Service outages or serious defects that made normal provision difficult, etc., are referred to in Article 9.
4) Refund Criteria for Paid Credits (Recommended Operation Guidelines)
If within 7 days of payment and the corresponding paid credits have been not used at all: full refund (withdrawal).
If partially used: refund can be made excluding the amount corresponding to the used portion within the limits permitted by law (specific calculation method is posted on the payment screen/customer service).
The Company does not charge penalties/damages for withdrawal.
5) Refund Processing Deadline and Method
If withdrawal is validly established, the Company will process a refund within 3 business days according to the criteria established by law (in the case of digital content, based on the withdrawal date, etc.).
If payment was made through payment methods such as card payments, the Company will take the necessary actions such as request for cancellation/suspension of payment.
Refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method, and the actual timing of the refund may vary according to the payment method/card company policies.
6) Inconsistency with Display/Advertising/Contract Content
If the service is different from the display/ad content or executed differently from the contract content, withdrawal may be possible within the period defined by law.
Article 9 (Error Payments, Duplicate Payments, Service Outages and Credit Corrections)
If duplicate payments/error payments are confirmed, the Company will cancel the payment or process a refund after verifying the facts.
If credits are found to have been incorrectly deducted/expired due to service outages or system errors attributable to the Company, the Company will restore the same amount of credits or compensate in a similar manner.
However, losses due to member's fault (account sharing, abnormal use, etc.) or external factors (carrier/payment company outages, etc.) may have limited compensation.
Article 10 (Policy and Fee Changes)
The Company may change fees, plan structures, provided credits, deduction criteria, validity periods, etc., as needed for service operation.
Changes that are unfavorable to members or significant changes will be notified in advance to members by reasonable means such as announcements within the service.
Especially, in cases of price increases for subscription products or conversion from free to paid subscriptions, prior notice and consent procedures will be established and operated.
Supplementary Provisions
This policy will take effect from February 27, 2026.
